Khmer Sour Lemongrass Soup (Gluten Free)

Serving Size 6 – 8 people. Prep time: 15 min, Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

3-4lb of flank steak

3oz or  6 tablespoons (video incorrect) of Traditional Lemongrass Seasoning

2 tablespoons of pickled Gouramy fish (make sure this get the one with no bones) you can add salt or MSG to substitute

2-3 tablespoons of the tamarind soup mix

2-3 cups of water

Jalapeno (optional if you want spice)

Traditionally Salaw Machu Krueng(sour lemongrass soup) is usually made with celery.

Handful of Holy Thai Basil

Half of a tablespoon of salt to taste
